Carcase Tags and Labels
MLCSL supply carcase labels to compliment the data capture package. Labels are sold to abattoirs that use MLCSL’s classification service as well as those that do not. Over seven million labels are sold annually. The labels are manufactured using a strong synthetic, thermal coated material that meets the requirements of the Foodstuffs and Consumer Act 1997. They are available in plain white, standard colours, (red, yellow, blue, green and orange), or other colours on request as special orders. The thermal print is water and fat resistant and does not smudge, the colour will not leach onto carcases and the print retains its integrity during storage and delivery. The labels will not tear when separated normally or come away from the carcase if applied correctly. They have been developed to be suitable for use in most label printers. The design of the MLCSL Ultima label gives further reassurance that the labels will print reliably at all times in all printers that have been correctly set up. With the quality of the labels second to none and the offer of free three day delivery as well as a back up service where we will monitor the usage and contact you to ensure that you never run out.
